Sensual Liaisons Released Today

Thanks to Luminosity Publishing who not only brought my books to life, they also made my little dream come true.

As of today, Sensual Liaisons: The Sword and the Rose Collection is available on major distribution sites, such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

This story is the last one in the series for the time being.

Although I had planned three more books I decided it was time to give the characters a break and allow myself to explore new adventures with new characters in another time zone and different setting.

I’m pleased to introduce Sensual Liaisons: The Sword and the Rose Collection which is to be a paperback consisting of books 2, 3, and 4 of The Sword and the Rose Series.

So that these three great e-books can be available in print, Luminosity Publishing has incorporated them into a paperback.

The book is due for release on 15th April 2017 and can be purchased through the usual distributor channels such as Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes and Noble, and Luminosity Publishing’s own website.

Although there had been plans for three more books in the series it was decided that it was time to end the Spanish 17th century saga after book 4.

I will now concentrate on my “Romance in War” series comprising of different stories set during World War II.

Book 1 – Letter from a Stranger is set in London during the Blitz was published by Luminosity Publishing in June 2015 and is available on Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes and Noble.

Book 2 – Dragoon Serenade is set in the south of France during the three weeks leading up to the Allied invasion of Operation Dragoon on 15th August 1944. Although this book is completed it is currently awaiting publication.

Book 3 – Balor’s Landing is set on the tiny island of Toraigh [Tory] off the Irish coast of county Donegal starting in September 1944. This book is my current work in progress, with four more books planned after this one.

In addition I am considering starting other adventures with new characters set during the 18th century but at this stage I won’t give anything away as to where and when those characters will emerge.

Louise

Lady of Seville – Three Year Worldwide Publishing Contract Signed

What a great way to start 2017…

I have today signed a three-year worldwide publishing contract with Luminosity Publishing for Book 4 in the Sword and the Rose Series – Lady of Seville.

The projected release date is set for March 2017.

The book will be released in a paperback version the following month in conjunction with books 2 and 3 of the series.

I had planned at least three more books in this series over the next two years, but I have since decided to defer these for some time in the future.

Although I will miss the characters I have grown to love, I feel the time has come to leave them alone for a while and move on to another time and location in history.

Meanwhile though I am ecstatic that Luminosity Publishing has confidence in me and my writings, and I look forward to our continuing association.

Finally, I would like to thank Dawné Dominique at Dusktildawn Designs for creating yet another masterpiece for me. The cover for “Lady of Seville” is gorgeous and describes the storyline beautifully.

Kindest Regards

Louise

What will 2017 bring?

As the year-end fast approaches I’m in a bit of a dilemma on what I should be writing in 2017.

Certainly I will continue with my “Romance in War” series even though at this stage I haven’t got a publisher on board to take them on – Book 2 – Dragoon Serenade anxiously awaits to be released to romance readers.

I am currently writing Book 3 – Balor’s Landing which is set on the small island of Toraigh, Ireland in September 1944 and have plans for at least four more books afterwards.

“The Sword and the Rose” Series is another matter. Although Book 4 – Lady of Seville nears completion, and I had envisaged a further 3 books, feedback I have recently received seems to suggest that I should be thinking of writing something else completely different.

It will be hard to let go of the characters I have grown to love, especially Elena de Cellorigo-Borja, my heroine in two of the four books, but even so perhaps a change would be good for my readers as well as for me. Who knows maybe I shall return to complete those three other stories at a later date.

What to write instead is a question I will have to ponder over. It has been suggested that I might consider historical romances with a Scottish flavor – apparently books of this nature are best-sellers regardless if they are sweet or erotic romances, so is it something to consider? I shrug – your guess is as good as mine – sigh!

I have been toying with the idea of either returning to the early to mid-19th century Australia to pick up where I left off with my first novel Beneath Southern Stars or doing something completely different and dabble in fantasy?

For now I suppose I will just enjoy the Christmas holidays with my family and see the New Year in before I put on my thinking cap to overcome this difficult situation I’m finding myself in.

In the meantime I will take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

Best Wishes

Louise

Two More Contracts…

With The Sword and the Rose Book 1 released eight days ago as an e-book, Luminosity Publishing provided me with two new three-year worldwide publishing contracts for books 2 and 3 of The Sword and the Rose series.

Embrace Amidst Orange Blossoms is scheduled for release as an e-book in October 2016, and in November this year Passionate Harvest is to be also released as an e-book.

As books have to be greater than 35,000 words to appear in paperback, and books 2 and 3 are under this threshold, Luminosity Publishing has agreed to combine both books under one cover to enable the stories to be available in print.

Meanwhile I have begun writing book 4 – Lady of Seville, and today I drafted out the plan for book 5. Although I have thought of a title for the latter I’m not going to announce it just yet as this might change.

There will be at least two more books after these in the series, but whether I’ll stop and move on to something else will depend on how popular The Sword and the Rose series becomes.

I will let you know as soon as I am given the dates of the print versions for books 1 to 3.

Louise
